The Mission of the Ringwood Art Society involves the following:-

• To encourage Professional and Hobby Artists in reaching their goals in painting and drawing in various mediums including oil, pastel, acrylic, watercolour and charcoal.

• To provide Tutored and Untutored Sessions in a wide range of art techniques for the benefit of members and potential members.

• To hold Art Exhibitions to promote and enhance artistic knowledge to the local community and visitors. As well as sales of original uncopied works of art.

• To be financially successful thereby retaining membership fees at affordable rates.



The objectives/Goals of the Ringwood Art Society include the following:
• To encourage an artistic and professional awareness of the Ringwood Art Society to local government, the community, local businesses, artists and the general public.
• To provide excellent services and benefits to our membership.
• To attract and retain an active membership.
• To organise highly successful Art Exhibitions in order to display our artistic talents.
