Being mainly self-taught, I have in recent years been able to devote more time to painting which I find both absorbing and satisfying. However, I have participated in workshops and taken classes with various Melbourne artists in order to improve my technique and widen my painting experiences.
I use oils,acrylics and pastels and paint mainly in a representational way, although I have explored expressionism and abstract art. I enjoy painting landscapes, still life and particularly portraits.
I have exhibited with the Ringwood, Whitehorse and Contemporary Art Societies and enter exhibitions whenever possible.
